Heiko Mützelburg to join Titan Wind Energy (Germany) GmbH as new CEO


Titan Wind Energy (Germany) GmbH is pleased to announce that Heiko Mützelburg is joining the company as our new CEO on 16th September 2024

Cuxhaven/Germany, 10 September, “Heiko brings an impressive blend of leadership expertise and business know-how to the table, says Mr. Junxu Yan, Founder and CEO of Titan Group. With his many years of experience in the world of Offshore wind and monopile industry, he will be instrumental in advancing our build-up and transformation process in Cuxhaven, Germany. As Managing Director, Heiko will be a significant asset to strengthen our success in Germany and contribute to the lasting growth of the Titan Group”, Mr. Junxu Yan is convinced.

“I am thrilled to join Titan Wind Energy,” Heiko Mützelburg states. He adds that Titan brings a long successful track record of delivering towers, blades, offshore structures globally. For the monopile industry, he further explains, Titan Wind Germany stands out because of the strategic location, very good conditions in the facility, and strong market demand. “That fact, together with a promising business model geared toward NetZero target is a unique base for starting a successful business in Europe and that attracted me to make my decision to join Titan”, Heiko describes his motivation for joining Titan.

Heiko has been working in the offshore wind industry since 2010 and has already successfully built up a foundation manufacturer. With his experience as managing director in more than 40 offshore wind projects with more than 2,500 foundations, he has accompanied many well-known projects in Europe.

Titan Wind Energy announced Financial Investment Decision of €300 million in Cuxhaven, Germany to construct XXXL monopile production plant back in June 2024. The first monopile is planned to be delivered summer 2026 and 600+ employees are expected as soon as the production plant is fully operational.
