Gennevilliers, France (13/10/2026) – www.exidegroup.com Exide Technologies, a global providor of sustainable battery energy storage solutions, introduces Solition Powerflex, a modular Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designed to support businesses in managing energy costs, integrating renewable energy sources, and adapting to evolving energy demands.
Solition Powerflex enables customers to align energy storage capacity with their current requirements while retaining the flexibility to expand as needs evolve. Its modular architecture supports the connection of up to 15 units in parallel, providing a scalable solution for commercial and industrial facilities, e-mobility infrastructure, renewable energy projects, agriculture and biogas applications. Each unit delivers 125 kW of power and 261 kWh of energy capacity in a compact footprint. The integrated battery and power conversion system is designed to simplify installation and help reduce integration effort, while the plug-and-play design supports fast deployment.
Powered by advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) technology, Solition Powerflex has been engineered with a focus on long-term reliability and safe operation. Liquid cooling, integrated fire suppression and advanced monitoring capabilities are designed to support reliable performance throughout the system lifecycle and the early detection of critical operating conditions.
Designed for operational and commercial flexibility
Solition Powerflex incorporates a European-built Storage Control System (SCS), providing a single platform for connecting energy storage assets with site operations, generation systems, grid operators and market participants. The system supports applications including self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, spot-market participation and control-power services, while worldwide data access, over-the-air updates and open third-party interfaces support adaptability to evolving operational and market requirements.
Secure by design
Solition Powerflex combines physical system protection with a secure digital architecture. Features such as encrypted remote connectivity, EU-based data hosting and multilayer access controls support the protection of operational data and remote system management. Cybersecurity and operational resilience are supported through continuous monitoring, regular security testing and consideration of relevant frameworks such as NIS2.
Serge Arbes, Exide Technologies Senior Business Director Global, Energy Solutions, said:
