EUNOMIA EXPANSION CONTINUES WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENT IN SCOTLAND


International environmental consultancy Eunomia Research & Consulting Ltd has recruited five new consultants, including industry veteran, Duncan Oswald, who joins as Senior Consultant in Scotland.

Duncan has 25 years’ experience in the industry, and is now part of Eunomia’s growing resource efficiency team. He previously managed Ecodyn Ltd, which he founded in 2000.

Duncan’s experience and network across Scotland is broad, delivering projects for both public and private sector clients such as Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Zero Waste Scotland, Scottish Government, local government, as well as leading companies including Highland Spring, Gates Power Transmission, 2Sisters, Marine Harvest, DS Smith, Sandvik and more.

In his work for Envirowise, Action Energy and the Carbon Trust, Duncan carried out several hundred resource and energy efficiency assessments in a range of sectors including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, metals, engineering and construction. Renewable energy is also part of Duncan’s portfolio: his design, installation, integration and build of a wind turbine, that now provides electricity for a new community centre, homes and electric vehicles on Harris, Scotland, has just won Best Community Project of the Year from Scottish Renewables. Other appointments the consultancy has made include Rebecca Burgess as Senior Project Manager in the Bristol headquarters, and Cally Barnes as Environmental Services Procurement Consultant, coming from the Borough of Poole. The London office is welcoming two new talented graduates, Leyla Lugal and Iona Horton, as Trainee Consultants.
