Global service network to support Wind Turbine Installers
Enerpac is announcing a new Multi-Purpose Lifting Beam (MPLB) for onshore wind turbine assembly at Wind Europe on stand C1-C82. The Enerpac MPLB uses a single crane to lift and position turbine components to a far higher degree of accuracy than possible with two cranes. Wind Europe 2025 also marks Enerpac’s increased focus project-specific wind energy tensioners backed by a global network of service centres within easy reach of on-shore and offshore wind developments for tensioner service, maintenance and calibration.
Precision Turbine Assembly
Two cranes are typically used for onshore wind to lift and position the nacelle, rotor and blades during turbine assembly. However, using multiple cranes can be both hazardous and time consuming as crane movements need to synchronised. The Enerpac MPLB provides a complete lifting cradle that allows components to be manipulated in 3D enabling a precision fit during turbine assembly.
“The Multi-Purpose Lifting Beam draws on our significant experience in turbine assembly over the past few years,” says Erik Roos, Global Director Wind Industry, Enerpac. “With the new MPLB we’ve refined its operation and hydraulics control to enable quicker turbine assembly through higher lifting capacity and more accurate movement and positioning of components than can be achieved using two cranes.”

Fast-track Custom Bolting Tensioners
The Enerpac range of hydraulic bolt tensioners for precise, simultaneous bolt tightening of wind turbine foundation bolts, gearbox bolting, Nacelle frame and blades, has been expanded to now include custom tensioners. Erik Roos again, “Customised tensioners are often necessary due to space constraints during bolt tensioning. Our team is able to work closely with customers to provide fast-track tensioner design and manufacture to meet their specific project requirements.”
Global Service
With many wind energy projects scattered around the globe, contractors can often find it difficult to find a nearby service centre to repair and calibrate tensioners quickly. Enerpac’s solution is its global network of 240+ Authorised Service Centres. Within easy reach of most wind energy projects, they offer service, repair and calibration for tensioners and torque wrenches with full transparency on costs and repair times.
Portable Battery-powered pumps
The Enerpac stand will also feature a range of industrial tools drawn from Enerpac’s growing range of battery-powered pumps and torque wrenches. In addition to environmental benefits, the tools enable higher levels of operational efficiency through access to online job data and monitoring. For example, the Enerpac SC-Series compact, cordless battery pump allows operators to undertake larger jobs in difficult to access and remote workspaces. While the Enerpac XC2-Series cordless hydraulic pumps offer higher speeds, longer battery run-times and greater oil capacity, allowing larger tool and multiple cylinder applications to be undertaken on a single charge.
