ELA Container Offshore GmbH delivered two Offshore Office Containers to the Netherland-based Martens en Van Oord. The containers will be placed on pontoons and barges working off the coast in dredging projects. “We decided to buy high quality used A60 ELA containers with DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079-1 offshore certification, since we expect more and more projects where offshore regulations apply”, says André Haak, Senior Buyer at Martens en Van Oord.

Both ELA Offshore Office Containers are 20 ft offshore container solutions that are equipped with office and meeting room furniture, also including a pantry kitchen with cooking plates and refrigerator. “Depending on customer requirements we are able to individually customize our containers. For Martens en Van Oord, for instance, ELA painted the containers in the original Martens en Van Oord house style, with its characteristic white and green colors, and we also added their corporate logo on both sides of each container”, explains Frank ter Haak, Business Development Manager Netherlands at ELA Container Offshore GmbH.
