Deutsche Windtechnik Taiwan rebrands to DWT image

DWT strengthens global brand presence.

Deutsche Windtechnik, a global leader in independent, multi-brand wind turbine services, today announced that its Taiwanese subsidiary has officially rebranded to DWT. The change is part of a coordinated international initiative to simplify the company’s brand identity and make it more accessible in global markets.. 

Seven years of growth in Taiwan

Since establishing its presence in Taiwan in 2018, Deutsche Windtechnik has evolved from a newcomer in the Asia-Pacific offshore wind industry into one of its leading service providers. Building on its global growth, the company places increasing emphasis on ensuring its brand name is clear and easily recognised in international collaboration. The new identity, DWT, preserves Deutsche Windtechnik’s heritage while providing a more concise and distinctive brand for the international market.

Focus on offshore services

DWT Taiwan operates exclusively in the offshore wind sector. Its services include inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, major component exchanges, and offshore logistics support, such as the operation of crew transfer vessels (CTVs), among others. With a planned APAC Control Centre set to become operational by mid-2026, the company will further strengthen its regional capabilities by enabling real-time wind farm oversight and integrated communication systems for on-site coordination.

Local leadership and operational continuity

DWT Taiwan serves as a hub for the wider Asia-Pacific region, drawing on two decades of operational and maintenance (O&M) expertise from the European market. This includes systematic knowledge transfer, robust training programmes for local teams, and a commitment to providing safe and reliable offshore wind services.

Global rebranding context

The Taiwan rollout is part of a coordinated international rebrand. Subsidiaries in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Poland are also adopting the DWT brand.
