Freiberg/Germany and Jintan: Friday, December 06, 2013: The teamtechnik group received orders for more than 50 machine assemblies for the production of solar cell strings from China just in the last quarter. Leading solar module manufacturers in the Asian boom market ordered the STRINGER TT1200 HS high-performance system from the German automation specialists. “Market development in China is excellent. We take great pride in the success that our technology has enjoyed there,” says Stefan Rosskopf, CEO of the international teamtechnik group, which also has sites in Suzhou and Jintan. teamtechnik is the only Western manufacturer of stringer systems with its own production facility in China.
teamtechnik’s customer list reads like a Who’s Who of the major players in the sector. Sixteen of the single-track stringer systems, which solder in 2.5 second cycles, went to the JA Solar group, currently the largest manufacturer of solar cells in the world. teamtechnik has also acquired some new customers. The company attributes customer satisfaction and successful customer acquisition to the high standard of the products and service it offers. With 40 service technicians employed in China reliable on-site support is guaranteed. JA Solar already acquired 16 Stringer TT1200s from teamtechnik in 2012 and is very happy with the output of the machine assemblies and with the service.
