The CEO position to pass from Matthias Brandt to Ronny Meyer in 2026
Deutsche Windtechnik announces a planned change in its executive leadership: Matthias Brandt will step down from his position on the Management Board as of 31 December 2025 and pass the company on in an orderly transition to his successor, Ronny Meyer.
Matthias Brandt looks back on more than 20 years of shaping and driving innovation at Deutsche Windtechnik: “These have been unique and formative years, filled with many remarkable experiences in which, together with all our colleagues, we have played a decisive role in shaping the service sector. Ronny Meyer takes over – focus on innovation and stability
Effective 1 January 2026, Ronny Meyer will assume the position of CEO at Deutsche Windtechnik. He brings years of leadership experience in the energy industry and climate policy, extensive expertise in renewable energy, and a strong technical background. “I am looking forward to working with the Deutsche Windtechnik team to shape the company’s next stages of development. My goal is to preserve the company’s continuity and stability while providing fresh impetus for innovation, ensuring we maintain a strong position and remain future-ready,” says Ronny Meyer.

The transition has been carefully planned for some time. Matthias Brandt will remain with the company until the end of March 2026 to ensure a seamless handover.
