CBED expands fleet with new CSOV: Wind Dedication

Written by Negin Hashemi | Oct 14, 2026, 8:30:30 AM

We are very excited to announce that CBED has acquired a new vessel to join their fleet. The new CSOV, Wind Dedication, has already been delivered and joins the CBED fleet already consisting of the three vessels Wind Innovation, Wind Creation and Wind Evolution.

Following delivery from the seller, international offshore wind contractor Seaway7, Wind Dedication (formerly Seaway Moxie), will feature the CBED logo and carry her new CBED name before being repainted in CBED’s full fleet design during the next scheduled dry-docking survey.

The vessel will be chartered back to Seaway7 and continue to support its existing project commitments until early 2028.

General Manager, CBED, Daniel Alon, says:

“We are very pleased to be able to expand our fleet with a fourth vessel. Seaway Moxie – soon to be Wind Dedication - has a strong reputation in the market and is well-known for her high operational capabilities. We look forward to building on this track-record together with the crew and in close cooperation with Seaway7.

We have been looking to add a new vessel for some time, and Seaway Moxie’s high operational performance combined with her ability to work at significant wave heights up to three meters makes it a very good addition to our current fleet of walk-to-work vessels.”

Seamless operations and onboard well-being

Wind Dedication has room to accommodate up to 60 persons living comfortably onboard. The customised walk-to-work vessel has an Uptime motion compensated gangway and DP2 system, allowing for safe transfers to and from offshore installations in significant wave heights up to 3 meters.

The vessel also includes onboard offices and meeting rooms allowing for seamless operations, and offers onboard well-being facilities such as a fitness room, cinema and lounge area with TV and gaming facilities.
