Cargostore Worldwide today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Andrew Hart to the role of Vice President, Offshore, reporting to CEO Justin Farrington Smith.

After 7 strong years in which the business has seen considerable growth, current Vice President Offshore Jacob Poot, following a handover period, will be retiring from his full time role whilst continuing to support Cargostore as a non-executive Brand Ambassador.

Over the past 7 years Jacob has overseen the extensive growth of Cargostore's Offshore Division, becoming a leading global player in the supply of DNV 2.7-1 CCUs for offshore projects, as well as the expansion into new regions such as the UAE, Northern Europe and Taiwan.

Says Jacob Poot,* "For me, now is the right time to hand over to Andrew to head the Offshore Division and I am pleased that I will be able to continue to support in the future development of the company whilst maintaining contact with our partners and clients."*

Andrew Hart, formerly the CEO of Freight Forwarders Kenya brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, having operated in several roles within freight forwarding and logistics serving the Oil and Gas, Mining and other major infrastructure projects.
