Bachmann presents SCADA Master Control System for wind farms
Published in: Wind, Press Releases

New solution simplifies the management of hundreds of turbines.
Feldkirch, Austria – August 2025
With its SCADA Master Control System (SMCS), Bachmann electronic presents a new solution for the efficient management of large wind farms. Regardless of the size of the wind farm, the SMCS allows a cascaded SCADA system to be set up. The data from the various wind farm SCADA systems is correlated and presented in a clear user interface, which makes it much easier to assign alarms to specific wind farms and turbines - even for wind farms with several hundred units.
A key strength of the SMCS is the ability to perform detailed analyses of individual wind farms directly from the master control system. Thanks to modern web technology, users can access the underlying WPS servers or directly to the turbine visualization via quickly accessible links. Here, for example, analyses with the Scope 3 software oscilloscope are available via webMI pro. The solution always complies with high security standards thanks to carefully designed user management and clear assignment of rights.
