The energy transition is entering its next phase. The regulatory framework and grid infrastructure are continuing to evolve, whilst at the same time millions of households are increasingly becoming active participants in the energy system. Rather than simply consuming electricity, they are increasingly generating, storing and using it themselves. At Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Anker SOLIX, – one of the world’s leading brands, for plug-in battery storage for two consecutive years* – demonstrated how smart storage solutions can support this transition.
The focus at the Anker SOLIX stand in Hall B1, Stand 570, was on both the latest product innovations and panel discussions on the future of decentralised energy supply, the standardisation of plug-in solar solutions, and the role of households in the European energy transition.
Solarbank 4 Pro: The next generation of smart energy storage
With the Solarbank 4 Pro, Anker SOLIX once again showcased its latest storage solution for households looking to utilise solar power as efficiently as possible. The system has a PV input power of up to 5 kW via four MPPT channels and can be expanded to a storage capacity of up to 30 kWh. In addition, the Solarbank 4 Pro supports dynamic electricity tariffs and AI-powered energy management to optimise consumption and electricity costs.
The Solarbank 4 Pro is based on the PowerOS energy management system and supports, amongst other things, smart tariff optimisation, AI-assistant “Anka” and integration into existing smart home environments.
Solarbank Max AC: Storage solution for existing photovoltaic systems
For owners of existing solar installations, Anker SOLIX also showcased the Solarbank Max AC at Intersolar. This storage solution was developed specifically for retrofitting existing photovoltaic systems; features an integrated bidirectional inverter and, based on offers, a storage capacity of 7 kWh, which can be expanded to up to 42 kWh.
Thanks to its AC-coupled architecture, the system can be combined with a wide range of existing solar installations. Furthermore, the Solarbank Max AC supports smart energy management, dynamic electricity tariffs and backup functions to ensure a reliable power supply.
Mobile power supply for on the go and as an emergency power reserve
Alongside its stationary storage solutions, Anker SOLIX also showcased its range of mobile power stations at Intersolar. These include, amongst others, the C1000 Gen2 and C2000 Gen2 models, which are suitable for both outdoor use and as a flexible power supply and emergency power reserve in everyday life. For higher energy requirements, Anker SOLIX also showcased the F3000, whose storage capacity can be expanded from 3 kWh to up to 12 kWh and which is particularly suitable for longer off-grid use. All devices combine high storage capacities with short charging times and offer users additional flexibility for mobile or off-grid scenarios.
Discussions at Intersolar: standards, regulation and the future of decentralised energy
Another key focus of Anker SOLIX’s presence at the trade fair was a range of talks and discussion sessions centred on the future of decentralised energy supply:
The future of decentralised energy supply
Intersolar Europe 2026 has shown that plug-in solar and smart storage solutions are increasingly moving from being niche products to becoming an integral part of the energy transition. With innovative storage technologies, smart energy management and a commitment to open standards, Anker SOLIX aims to play an active role in shaping this transition and help make sustainable energy accessible to an ever-growing number of households.
*Data source: Euromonitor International (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., based on global retail sales of the brands (in millions of USD) in 2024 and 2025. Plug-and-play balcony solar battery storage systems include both all-in-one models with integrated micro-inverters and standalone models that connect to external inverters. Both models enable users to install and use them at home immediately. The study was completed in February 2026.
