Economical solution for demanding substrates and compact open space projects
Satteins, June 2025 – With the new COMPACTGROUND GS 10 PLUS, AEROCOMPACT is expanding its product portfolio in the field of ground-mounted PV systems with a flexible and economical solution for projects with difficult ground conditions or limited project size. The market launch will take place from June 2025.
The system was specially developed for ground-mounted projects where traditional driven foundations are not economical – for example on landfill sites, in areas with sand, gravel or karst soils or for PV systems below 2 MW. An intelligent hybrid solution consisting of ballasting and soil nails ensures fast, stable and uncomplicated installations.
Two different nail lengths (800 mm for frost protection, 450 mm for landfills) and two ballast tray types allow maximum flexibility depending on the area of application. Installation requires just a few tools: the ground pegs are hammered in with a hammer drill and can be easily repositioned at an angle of 30-60 degrees if resistance is encountered. Hot-dip galvanized components ensure high corrosion resistance, even under demanding environmental conditions.
The newly designed substructure also allows each individual module to be attached – this saves material and increases system efficiency.
With the COMPACTGROUND GS 10 PLUS, AEROCOMPACT is responding to the increasing demand for economical and adaptable PV solutions for decentralized energy projects. The system reduces installation times, logistics and costs – while offering high stability and flexibility.
