ABB PRESENTS INSITE ENERGY PRO FOR INTUITIVE, MULTI-SITE ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Published in: Solar, Press Releases

- Cloud-based platform, powered by AWS, enables remote, user-friendly energy management across multiple locations
- ABB Ability™ InSite Energy Pro streamlines user experience with real-time monitoring, automated load management, and customizable dashboards
- Accelerates informed decision-making through benchmark analytics and detailed reporting features
As energy efficiency regulations tighten and costs rise, businesses are seeking smarter solutions for managing energy across multiple locations. ABB Ability™ InSite Energy Pro, a cloud-based energy management platform, delivers actionable insights and automated optimization from a single, intuitive interface.
Powered by AWS's secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, InSite Energy Pro leverages real-time analytics and benchmarking to facilitate informed decision-making, optimize demand response, and cut energy costs.
With energy efficiency a key priority for the building and property management sector, InSite Energy Pro offers a comprehensive approach to energy management for building owners, developers and energy managers of multi-dwellings and mid-sized commercial properties.

The InSite energy management system's control unit, SCU200, acts as a hub for managing energy across multiple devices, including breakers, meters, and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers. Through the intuitive, user-friendly InSite Energy Pro interface, users can gain a comprehensive view of their energy ecosystem, making it easier to manage loads, optimize performance, and reduce costs.
Customizable dashboards provide users with a clear overview of energy consumption across locations, allowing them to compare real-time and historical data to identify best practices and uncover potential energy savings.
To help ensure operational continuity, users can configure alerts and automations for scenarios such as breaker trips or threshold exceedances, allowing for quick responses to critical energy events. The platform's load management functionalities automatically adjust energy usage based on predefined conditions, like peak demand periods and renewable energy availability, to reduce energy costs and avoid grid charges.
Furthermore, InSite Energy Pro makes it easier to comply with energy efficiency regulations, including ISO 50001, with comprehensive reporting features that track key metrics related to energy consumption, peak demand, and power quality.
Andrea Menti, Energy Distribution Business Line Leader, within ABB's Smart Buildings Division, said: "As businesses face rising energy costs and stricter sustainability mandates, the need for intelligent, multi-site energy management has never been greater. InSite Energy Pro gives them the insights and support they need to manage energy use more effectively, while staying compliant with evolving regulations - all within an easy-to-use platform."
Experience InSite Energy Pro firsthand at the Hannover Fair (March 31 - April 4, Hall 15, Stand D76) and discover how ABB is redefining multi-site energy management.
