Solis Europe Unveils Advanced Storage Solutions for Businesses | In Conversation

At Intersolar, PES Solar caught up with Matthew Doughty, Technical Sales Manager at Solis Europe, to explore how advanced solar-plus-storage solutions are helping businesses navigate a landscape of high, volatile electricity prices.

Solis has launched a highly scalable 261 kWh storage cabinet featuring a 125 kW hybrid inverter to help C&I businesses bypass high grid tariffs. The system allows up to 10 units in parallel to deliver 1.25 MW of power, with the DC capacity expandable up to 15.66 MWh. It integrates an AI-driven Energy Management System (EMS) designed to automatically manage factory energy via peak shaving and dynamic tariff optimization.

The pre-populated cabinet arrives with battery modules already housed inside to minimize on-site installation time. Built on stable LFP cell chemistry, the system prioritizes multi-layer safety with smoke detectors, pack-level aerosol fire suppression, and a Honeywell Lion Tamer off-gas detector that safely shuts down operations before a cell can reach thermal runaway.
