As offshore wind foundations grow larger and projects move into deeper waters, installation technology is having to keep pace.

Speaking with PES Wind at WindEnergy Hamburg, Fabian W. Hippe, Director of Strategy & Commercial at Menck, discussed how tougher soil conditions and larger foundations are shaping the next generation of installation equipment.

Fabian also highlighted the role of real-time digital monitoring in understanding pile behaviour, controlling underwater noise and adjusting installation systems to meet regulatory requirements.
