K2 Systems Expands into Full Range Mounting Solutions | In Conversation

Connecting at Intersolar to discuss the changing landscape of solar mounting, PES Solar had the pleasure of talking with Katharina David, Co-CEO at K2 Systems GmbH, to explore how the company transitioned from a rooftop specialist into a comprehensive provider covering rooftops, facades, carports and ground-mount applications.

Katharina explained that K2 Systems GmbH' expansion addresses customer demand for a single supplier across all project types. A prime example is their ground-mount system, "Pyrek," featuring slide-in installation, built-in cable management and high corrosion protection to minimize installation time.

Highlighting transparency, Katharina pointed to K2's first sustainability report, emphasizing that high-quality materials lower long-term asset risk over a 20+ year lifecycle. Despite temporary market consolidation around negative power prices, David remains confident that growing electrification will drive strong demand across ground-mount, carport and rooftop sectors.
