Connecting at Intersolar to explore integrated energy management, PES Solar spoke with Faisal Bouchotrouch, Product Manager C&I BESS Europe at GoodWe, to discuss their latest one-stop-shop commercial solutions.
GoodWe showcased its ETR 125 inverter alongside the liquid-cooled BTC 200 battery (available in 208 and 261 kWh capacities). By placing the DC/DC converter inside the battery unit rather than the inverter, GoodWe lowers the initial cost barrier for businesses installing solar today while enabling a seamless, plug-and-play storage upgrade later on. Their SDS connection further ensures robust backup capabilities, allowing businesses to manage PV, storage, and diesel generators across both on-grid and off-grid environments.
Additionally, GoodWe introduced a redesigned C&I AC-coupled ESS solution equipped with active balancing and integrated module fire suppression. To ensure smooth adoption, the company is offering free hands-on commissioning support with GoodWe engineers for installers through the end of the year.
