EcoFlow Launches Oasis 3.0 Ecosystem for Smart Home Energy | In Conversation

Published in: Solar, In Conversation

Engaging with pioneers in residential energy autonomy at Intersolar, PES Solar spoke with Johan Pistone, Head of Ecosystem Partnerships at EcoFlow, to learn how integrated hardware and software allow users to intelligently optimize volatile electricity tariffs.

Pistone explained that volatile pricing offers an opportunity for consumers using smart systems to maximize savings. EcoFlow's new Oasis 3.0 software synchronizes solar production, batteries, EV chargers, and heat pumps using live price and weather forecasts. Driven by an AI assistant called Ecobot, the software adapts routines automatically based on grid conditions or direct user inputs like upcoming vacations.

On the hardware side, EcoFlow introduced two modular options: the Ocean 2 Series for larger homes requiring substantial power and built-in backup, and the Stream Series designed as an easy, scalable starting point for tenants and smaller households. Based on this ecosystem framework, EcoFlow is now expanding these energy independence solutions into the C&I sector.
