Combining robotics with nondestructive testing could improve how wind turbine blades are inspected, both in service and during manufacturing.

At WindEnergy Hamburg, PES Wind spoke with Steen Brinch Gildenpfennig, Head of Business Unit at 3WIS, and Jack Cornes, Co-Founder at HausBots, about their collaboration on a robotic blade inspection solution.

They discussed how combining 3WIS's expertise in ultrasonic testing with HausBots' robotics technology aims to make blade inspections easier to carry out, both in factories and in the field.
