teamtechnik wins second place in the "Best Factory" competition.

The business magazine “WirtschaftsWoche” has awarded the teamtechnik Group second place in the “Best Factory” competition, rewarding the company for its convincing business model and internationally oriented strategy, its powers of innovation and its production efficiency. This move puts teamtechnik among the best manufacturing companies in Germany.

The specialist for modular systems shares the second place with Schmitz Cargobull. According to the jury, both companies scored only slightly less than BMW, who came first. “We are delighted with this honor and the confirmation of our business success that it represents,” says Stefan Rosskopf, CEO of the teamtechnik Group. Last year, the teamtechnik Group increased its sales by over 50% to 145 million.

The jury, which was made up of economists from international management colleges and universities, was persuaded by teamtechnik’s successful and consistent change of business model from special machine construction to a three-pillar structure: the production of flexible assembly platforms for automotive and medical technology applications and serial production of high-performance systems for solar technology. The company is now a global leader in stringer technology.
