Swiss inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering creates subsidiary for international sales


On 1 April, at its headquarters in Biel , the Swiss inverter manufacturer Sputnik Engineering AG will launch a new subsidiary, Sputnik Engineering International AG. In future, the new subsidiary will be responsible for sales, service and customer advisory services in all those countries which do not yet have a Sputnik branch location. This does not impact the work of already existing subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Italy and France.

The markets serviced by Sputnik Engineering International AG include the Czech Republic, the Benelux countries, Slovenia, Slovakia , Bulgaria, Austria, Turkey, Greece and Switzerland.

New subsidiaries in Brussels and Prague

Explaining the company’s decision, Daniel Freudiger, managing director of Sputnik Engineering International AG and head of sales & marketing at the Swiss company’s headquarters, says, “Sputnik Engineering International AG will enable us to increase our flexibility and be closer to our customers.” Freudiger’s team will include domestic sales and technical sales support, which are also based in Biel, as well as the key account managers in the local branch locations.

For sales and customer service in the Benelux countries Sputnik has already opened an office in Brussels. Key account manager Marcel Hoffmann supports customers located in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from the Swiss inverter manufacturer’s branch location in Prague. Other local sales offices are planned.
