Ingeteam’s new power station for large-scale solar plants and battery storage systems

The new INGECON SUN FSK product reaches 7.2 MW of medium voltage output power and is supplied as an all-in-one solution, since all the elements are placed on a full skid platform.

The first units are already being installed in various photovoltaic plants.

Pamplona, Spain. 11th of March, 2021.

Ingeteam has designed its new INGECON SUN FSK power station aimed at large-scale solar plants and battery energy storage systems, since its nominal power allows it to reach 7.2 MW of medium-voltage output power.

This new design has been thought to make installation and connection work in the field as easy as possible. For this reason, it is supplied with all the elements previously connected at the factory. In addition, this solution can be transported both by land and by sea, since it can be placed directly on the trailer of a truck or inside a 40-foot container, allowing it to be installed anywhere in the world.

The first units of this full skid type power station have been manufactured in Navarre, Spain, and are already being supplied to various photovoltaic projects.

Flexibility is another advantage of this solution, since it can integrate from one to four solar or battery inverters (1500 Vdc or 1000 Vdc), so its output power range varies from 1 MW to 7.2 MW, which allows Ingeteam to adapt to all types of project configurations and sizes.

Apart from the inverters, this power station also integrates the LV/MV power transformer, the transformer oil tank, the medium voltage switchgear, the auxiliary services panel and the auxiliary services transformer, thus optimizing as much as possible the use of the available space.

This product reinforces Ingeteam’s scope of supply for the solar sector and the energy storage sector, for which the Group supplies many other products and services.
