Spliethoff chooses Hatenboer-Water water treatment equipment for their six new multipurpose vessels, designed for operations in tough conditions. The first of these deliveries is currently being engineered by Hatenboer-Water.
A total of six ships will be outfitted with robust Oceanus reverse osmosis systems, including hot and cold water equipment and all relevant water treatment components. The water generators will be handed over by the Hatenboer Water Singapore branch.
Spliethoff
The vessels of this new R-Class are currently under construction in China. They are optimised for fuel efficiency and equipped with scrubbers to reduce their environmental footprint. With a hold length of over 100 meters and combinable Heavy Lift cranes the vessels are highly suitable to operate in the specialised breakbulk market with heavy and outsized cargoes. The accommodation, including the navigation bridge, is situated forward, offering a long, wide and well protected deck for ultra- long pieces, as for instance windmill equipment, when carried on deck.
