Climeon partners with Dynamic Projects International to bring 100% clean electricity and energy savings into the Americas.

Through a strategic marketing agreement, Dynamic Projects International (DPI) will promote the Climeon OceanTM in the American market. Initial focus will be on land based oil and diesel power plants, a potential market of more than 2 000 of the 1MW Climeon OceanTM units, equaling a potential saving of more than 6 million tons CO2 per year.

Climeon AB and Dynamic Projects International (DPI) has signed a strategic marketing agreement allowing DPI to market the groundbreaking Climeon OceanTM solution into the American markets.

– With their exceptional network with key decision makers, DPI is a clear partner of choice for us in the Americas, says Climeon Head of Business Development Pernilla Wihlborg.

DPI will initially focus their efforts on land based oil and diesel power-plants, a heat source that fits perfect with Climeon OceanTM. Each targeted power plant typically ranges from tens to hundreds of MW, around half of that energy is wasted as heat, typically at 70 – 120°C Climeon OceanTM is perfectly positioned to recover such waste heat. The solution efficiently converts heat into electricity, turning a perceived waste into a highly valuable asset, saving costs and the environment.

– Climeon Ocean is the only product that can take this “cold heat” and turn it into electricity with the high quality and relatively short payback times these customers require, says DPI Managing Director, Peter Häggblom.

DPI will market the Climeon OceanTM products targeting this market ranging from 150 kW to >1 MW in clean electricity output per unit.

– It has always been a target of Climeon to change the planet for the better, with this agreement we extend our market reach dramatically, says Climeon CEO Thomas Öström.

We see this as a very large business opportunity, and at the same time a large step forward in the global ambition of reducing CO2 emissions. The market potential for land based power plants is substantial, Global Energy Observatory lists more than 800 oil based power plants in the Americas. Potential energy saving with Climeon OceanTM far exceeds 20 000 GWh or more than 2 000 Ocean 1 MW units. In CO2 numbers this equals a potential saving of more than 6 million tons CO2 per year, roughly the same amount of CO2 as a country like El Salvador emits annually.
