Turbines have traditionally been inspected visually, often by a servicing company. But in recent times, due to the exponential progress in drone technology, these inspections are made by flying drones equipped with high-resolution cameras. In light of recent world events, the development and use of sustainable, renewable, climate-friendly and politically independent sources of energy are not only needed but are a key component for a safe future. One such source is wind power produced by wind turbines.
