Odense Port is positioning itself as a key player in Europe’s offshore wind sector, aiming to become the world’s first All-Component Offshore Wind Port. With ample space for the production and pre-assembly of turbine components, the port is reducing costs and risks while fostering innovation through its industrial cluster and robotics hub.

As many European ports face a space shortage, Odense Port offers a significant advantage. Morten Diederich, Senior Business Development Manager, highlights that the port spans 8.5 million square meters, making it Denmark’s largest. Of that, 2 million square meters are dedicated to the wind industry, with an additional 1 million under construction for a dry port to ensure supply chain security for wind manufacturers.

Odense Port isn’t just meeting industry needs—it’s shaping the future of offshore wind logistics and innovation.
