Bentek Solar, a designer and manufacturer of a range of PV products connecting the PV panel to the inverter for the commercial and utility-scale marketplace, has shipped shipped hundreds of megawatts of Bentek Zone Current Monitoring installed in Bentek re-combiners and disconnect safety systems (MDSS and CBSS) throughout North America.
Bentek Zone Current Monitoring is an advanced, highly reliable monitoring system with a networked RS-485 or Ethernet interface running Modbus protocol that allows PV system operators to optimize PV system performance and identify potential PV system performance issues.
Zone Current Monitoring is comprised of individual current transducers for each zone, and a data acquisition interface module with all necessary terminals and power supplies for easy installation. Each circuit is customer selectable to be calibrated to one percent accuracy or an optional 0.05 percent accuracy.
Bentek Zone Current Monitoring comes as a standard feature in Bentek Utility-Scale (UTS) re-combiners and disconnect safety systems (MDSS and CBSS), and as an optional feature in commercial (Coml) re-combiners and disconnect safety systems (MDSS and CBSS).
