As part of its ongoing process of commercial expansion, the Spanish company Grupo Clavijo, world leader in solar photovoltaic structures and trackers, has opened an office in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Clavijo Energy Services LLC, aiming to strengthen its business activity and provide better service to customers in this area and in MENA countries. The new office was set up in partnership with Mr. Mubarak Al Qubaisi, president of Mubarak & Group. Gregorio Clavijo will head the office. This opening is in addition to existing offices in California (USA) and Chile.
The MENA region is very active in the development of renewable energy. According to a World Bank report, it is estimated that over the next 10 years the region’s countries will invest 6.4 billion in this sector.
With more than 650 Mw installed, Grupo Clavijo is currently one of the leaders in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of structures and trackers for the global solar photovoltaic industry. The quality and technological innovation of its products, both distinctive hallmarks of the company, and its global service to developers, EPC contractors and installers have been pushing its international expansion in recent years.
